Process
At Ahuja Sales, we follow a strict production process to meet the needs of our clients worldwide. Industry standards are followed in the hygienic processing and packaging of the basmati rice.
At Ahuja Sales, rice milling is done with care to guarantee that our clients get a product of the highest caliber. To make white rice, we first mill the paddy, removing the bran layer and husk. The ideal moisture percentage for milling rice is about 12%. When the process is carried out in phases, the best outcomes are obtained.
A multi-stage milling procedure that produces higher-quality and yields of white rice by passing paddy through multiple procedures.
Production Process

Cleaning
It is the first step in which the paddy is pre-cleaned to remove weeds, soil, seeds, etc.

DeHusking
In this step, the husk, or outer layer of the paddy is removed through friction by passing it between two abrasive surfaces.

Polishing
Rice polishing is performed to remove the bran layer from the surface and improve the appearance of the rice.

Grading and Sorting
In this step, the whole kernels are separated from the broken grains, followed by sorting the rice according to colour difference.

Packaging
The rice is prepared for transport to the customer in packaging adhering to the industry standard.
6
Managing
This step includes the management of the by-products after the completion of the rice-milling process.
